YESSSS Announces Chris Baird as Joint CEO

Auckland, New Zealand - YESSSS, a marketing and business consultancy firm in the marine industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Chris Baird as joint CEO alongside Nona Pedersen. Chris brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the YESSSS team, having spent over 30 years in the marine industry. 

Chris began his marine journey in the magnificent Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia as a director with a sailing school and charter business. He then moved to Cairns to run a marine chandlery and then specialist marine electronic retailer. Chris joined NAVMAN Australia in 2000, where se CEO he played a significant role in the company's success as a household name for GPS navigation and marine electronics. He later founded FUSION Electronics Australia and then 4 years later moved to New Zealand as CEO of FUSION International. Over the last three and a half years Chris has been CEO & Managing Director of Propspeed International. Chris's experience in marine electronics, marine entertainment, chandleries, yacht charters, sailing school, and marine coatings, combined with his successful track record of expanding marine businesses through four major recessions, make him a valuable addition to the YESSSS team. 

At YESSSS, Chris will be focused on building a world-class marine business brokerage division within the company. YESSSS will help marine companies achieve their goals quicker, be more visible, and excite potential partners or aquirers. Chris also believes that a service that helps marine businesses to integrate into a new partnership would be beneficial for all parties.
